The Nature Conservancy Headquarters

Indianapolis, IN

The Indiana Nature Conservancy was in need of a new headquarters with a minimal carbon footprint to achieve Platinum LEED certification. In 2012, Wilhelm, as the general contractor, helped them reach this goal. The building features native materials, wind turbines, geothermal heating and cooling, natural lighting, a green roof, and a rainwater system to conserve energy. The exterior is clad in low-maintenance Indiana limestone, recycled brick, and cement board siding.
