On the southern end of the University of Louisville campus sits Cardinal Stadium (formerly Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium), home of the Louisville Cardinals football team. Wilhelm self-performed the cast-in-place concrete for the original stadium structure. During this project work was periodically accelerated to facilitate the timely completion of the project in time for the season’s first home game.
