Since 1999, Indianapolis has been home to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) national office, a three-building campus anchoring White River State Park. The NCAA oversees 89 championships in 23 sports and governs over 400,000 student-athletes at 1,000 colleges. Originally designed in the mid-1990s for fewer than 350 employees, the campus now accommodates about 500 staff. Wilhelm was the Construction Manager on the original building and the renovation and expansion. The four-story expansion, which earned LEED Gold Certification, features a terra cotta rain screen system and copper bands, blending with the original design while creating a distinct look.
